Why it’s great to include watermelon in your diet
Watermelon is fantastic in summer as it contains approximately 95% water. Watermelon is also rich in Vitamin C and contains beta-carotene & lycopene which are both powerful antioxidants. Due to the thick outer skin watermelon is also less likely to absorb pesticide residue so if you can’t buy certified organic fruit this is a safer option.
