Why it’s great to include apples in your diet
Apples are not only delicious they also contain a fibre known as pectin which helps to maintain blood sugar levels. Apples contain Vitamin C and they also contain quercetin which enhances the absorption of Vitamin C. Quercetin is also a natural antihistamine so it’s fantastic for people with allergies. Apples are a great morning fruit as they help to wake you up but are possibly best avoided by children at bedtime.
