Pre-purchased sauces can contain preservatives, added salt and sugar so why not try making a few condiments (we love that word) yourself.
Let’s start with this spinach and pea sauce, it is so tasty, so healthy, doesn’t require cooking and you can make it in less that 5 minutes, who wouldn’t love that!
Into your colander add:
A couple of handfuls of baby Spinach
A cup or two or peas
Rinse and pop it into your blender
Then add:
A squeeze of lemon
A clove of crushed garlic
Salt and Pepper
A dash of water to get it all moving and blend away.
You can use this delicious sauce as a side to curries, patties, meat (if you eat it) or in wraps.
